Do you feel overwhelmed trying to figure out which AWS services to use and how to use them?

What Is Elastic Beanstalk?

Are you using AWS? Are you feeling challenged while figuring out which services to use, or how to use them? OPG knows it can seem complicated, but AWS offers one solution that makes things easier than you think.

Elastic Beanstalk can help you quickly deploy and manage applications in the AWS Cloud without the need to know much about what’s running those applications. Elastic Beanstalk decreases the management complexity without removing choice or control. Once your application is uploaded, Elastic Beanstalk can automatically handle the details of provisioning, load balancing, scaling, and application monitoring. The result? High availability, enterprise grade hosting for a fraction of the cost and none of the complexity!

AWS Elastic Beanstalk supports applications developed in many languages like Java, Node.js, PHP, Python, and Ruby. When you have deployed your application, Elastic Beanstalk will build the selected supported platform version and provision one or more AWS resources to run your application. You can then use the Elastic Beanstalk console, or AWS Command Line Interface to interact with Elastic Beanstalk.

How Does OPG Fit In?

OPG has been using AWS and Elastic Beanstalk for quite some time now. OPG has assisted many clients in migrating to AWS and utilizing the Elastic Beanstalk capabilities to help reduce the costs of a normal server migration. By using the functionalities available with Elastic Beanstalk, OPG is able to deploy the migrated platform quicker, and save resource effort usually used for setting up load balancers, provisioning, etc. Less effort equals lower costs to you.

To learn more about how AWS and Elastic Beanstalk can work for your software stack, or if this is all still geeky gibberish, let OPG help guide you through the process.
